Minutes, 1910-1919.

Minute book is a handwritten account of the business carried on at each meeting. If a paper was read the title is given and sometimes a short commentary. The queries, questions to provoke debate, were recorded and any response is paraphrased. Example queries are: "Is allowance for the wife a proper method of conducting a household?"; "What is the greatest question before the American people-immigration, liquor, races, corporations?"; and "Can the farmer lessen his hours of labor without detriment to his work and financial condition?" The farming, community and political news are discussed as well as ideas for raising money, improving the grange and the community.
